Other Features: The knife world lost a true legend with the passing of Buster Warenski.  His multi-faceted skills in the knifemaking art is widely known throughout the world and he lives on through his work that resides in some of the most prestigious  knife collections throughout the world.  Custom Knife Gallery of Colorado is both privileged and honored to have this lovely piece to grace our gallery of fine handmade knives.  It is a true representation of Buster's work and is truly a memorable knife.  To start with, Buster employed striking Edwards jade for the inlay of this lovely interframe which is surrounded by incredibly carved scroll which encompasses the entire handle.  To accent the handle itself, a total of 32 solid gold beads are inlayed both at the top and the bottom of the handle on each side.  To further add to the stunning beauty of this fantastic knife, the damascus backspacer is expertly fileworked and each diagonal trough is inlaid with solid gold wire.  This intricate work is both extremely difficult and time consuming to accomplish.  The backspacer is further highlighted by a solid gold lockback knob which functions perfectly for releasing the lock allowing the Daryl Meir turkish damascus blade to retract into the handle.  What a magnificent additional embellishment.  As a finishing touch to this knife, the maker's mark which resides on the ricasso is inlaid with solid gold as well.   What else needs to be said.  This piece speaks for itself.  Please feel free to call for additional details.
