Special Features: This full size folding semi-skinner from Terry Davis is made the way it should be made.  It was a special order from Mr. Davis and there is only one of these that have been made as far as we know.  The handle is a close proximity to the Remington R1123 bullet knife.  It is thinner though because it is a single blade piece.  The action is just right with smooth tactile resistance, terrific snap, perfect blade alignment and razor sharp!!  The sheep horn bark has beautiful nice ridges and color.  It contrasts with both the blade steel and bolsters nicely.  The round  shield is unique and befits this pattern as well.  The seamless backspacer has no gaps and fits seamlessly next to the blade in the open position.  When extended, the blade sit firmly in place with no wobble or slop.  What a terrific example of a very unique and field usable knife.  The work of this maker is very, very difficult to get.  His waiting list is approximately 4-5 years and his production is low.  For the collection or the pocket, this piece is a great find and a great value !!

Terry created this beautiful PROTOTYPE stockman for Barrett & Smythe. He started with absolutely gorgeous exhibition grade sambar stag scales, and satin finished steel to form this beautiful three blade stockman pattern..  The scales are held together with stainless pins.  The liners very clean stainless steel.  The blades are razor sharp ATS-34 satin finished to a lovely sheen.  And they have half stops !!   What a truly fantastic knife with exquisite fit, finish, blade spring, blade center and true top shelf craftsmanship.  It is the only prototype by Terry Davis that we have had the luxury of offering.  For field use, this piece is very, very sharp.  Thus we are very pleased to have this strikingly beautiful and rare piece available.
