| Additional Information: When we first layed eyes on this beautiful five blade congress at the 2008 blade show right before Richard's drawing, we had to have it. What a terrific example of this lovely pattern as well as a magnificent accomplishment in its flawless creation. Richard intricately checkered the best black lip pearl scales available for this lovely knife. What a real head turner! The smoothly executed backsprings are also expertly fileworked internally which adds even more artistic beauty to this already amazing piece. Each of the blades is designed with long pull nailnicks to easy deployment. Richard also has included beautiful swedges on each blade as well as an excellent high satin finish as well. The all screw construction also aids in easy maintenance of this lovely piece should it be necessary. What a fantastic combination of exquisite materials, craftsmanship, utility, and style in this wonderful example of top notch knife art. Since Richard's work is only available at shows, and this piece is a true one of a kind, I am sure many of you are already thinking about adding this lovely work to your collections. I wouldn't hesitate if that is the case since it won't last long. |

It features terrific mother of pearl scales, fantastic integral construction with 416 stainless frame and rectangular shield. The blade steel is satin finished ATS-34 stainless steel with a long pull nail nick. The scales are held together with two solid gold pins as well as stainless pins. Inside the handle, the back of the spring is nicely fileworked. What a beautiful price from a very well known maker with excellent fit, finish, blade center and snap. |
