| Additional Information: With this lovely piece, Theuns does it again with beautiful earth tone color coordination, excellent filework and true expert craftsmanship. This is the first of its kind with hand carving of elephants on both sides of the knife. The backspacer and liners have Theuns' very own multi-color treatment with stippling. The process is unique to his knives and is quite beautiful. The blade steel originates from the South African shop of this gifted knifemaker. Both expertly finished to color coordinate and/or complement this piece through lovely contrast. Upon close examination of this knife, you will see great attention to detail. To provide the crowning touches, Theuns uses gold plated screws to attach both the handle to the frame, and a beautiful heat colored thumbstud set with a firey red ruby. Great fit, finish, lockup and action are standard features with a Prinsloo folder and this piece holds no exception. |
