Other Features: The knife world lost a truly gifted artist due to the passing of Mr. Frank Potter. Frank was in a class by himself for making exquisite works of art using steel and sought after ivory, pearl and titanium. This beautiful piece is a perfect specimen of the type of work that Mr. Potter was famous for. The blade steel was custom made mosaic damascus by well known maker Robert Eggerling. Frank Potter was the only one to get this steel and to this day, you will never see it used by another maker. The bolster steel is the quite popular raindrop pattern by Mike Norris which was fluted by Mr. Potter. This steel is well known for its durability and beauty. Frank carved and fileworked the bolster steel to further enhance the artistic flair of this gorgeous knife. Mr. Potter then used large pieces of ancient wooly mammoth bark ivory with blue and green highlights for the handle scales of this piece, and shaped them perfectly to enhance the persian influence. For liners and locking mechanism, Mr. Potter carved and anodized titanium, cut and fitted the material perfectly for a terrific lockup. The backspacer is a combination of fileworked stainless and black lip pearl inlaid between two distinct backspacer sections. Inside the knife, you will also find a bit of a surprise with some extra work performed by Mr. Potter, The lower portion of the backspacer is also fileworked and inlaid with a slice of paua shell. All in all, this is one terrific knife and we are very pleased to offer it for your enjoyment and collecting pleasure.

Other Features: This piece is one of the rarest knives that you will see that came from the shop of Frank Potter.  It is truly one of a kind with beautifully and creamy ivory scales.  The emerald green anodized titanium liners are a great change of pace and match nicely with the creamy ivory and the high contrast etching of the lovely damascus. on the backspacer. The beautiful backspacer is nicely fileworked and complements the fileworked liners quite nicely as well with its inlaid paua shell and alternating damascus bars. .  Every screw on this knife both on the bolsters and the handle scales are intricately fileworked as well .  What a terrific knife this piece is.  It is both memorable, unique and I seriously doubt you will ever see another one quite like it !!
