| Other Features: We wish to welcome Willie Paulsen from South Africa to our gallery of fine knives with this beautiful wharncliffe folder of damasteel damascus and creamy warthog tusk. The bolster steel is very nice Oden's Eye pattern damascus as is the backspacer. The thumbstud is inlaid with mother of pearl and the titanium liners are both embellished on the inside and anodized blue to match the warthog tusk. Fit, finish, lockup and action on this piece are fantastic. Very nice knife at a very nice price. |

The damasteel has a core of RWL-34, the cousin of ATS-34 which is a great using steel. The damasteel bolsters provide a beautiful pattern barrier layer between the blade and the scales. To add a little more color, Willie anodized the titanium liners blue and embellished them for additional beauty. Add this artistic addition to great fit, finish, lockup and blade center and you have a very nice knife for the money. |
