Knife Specifications: Sole Authorship Damascus Tanto
Blade Length: 9.25"
Overall Length: 15.25"
Blade Type: Original Japanese Tanto Style
Blade Composition: Damascus of 832 Layers of 1084 & 15N20 Carbon Steel
Handle Material: Padauk Wood
Habaki Composition: Copper
Saya & Tsuka Composition:  Padauk Wood
Stand Included:  Handmade Japanese Style Display Stand of Padauk Wood
Additional Features:  Here is a truly spactacular damascus sole authorship tanto of Fred Ott's own damascus of 832 layers, a matching Saya & Tsuka of rare padauk.  The tanto fits seemlessly so that both Saya & Tsuka both form a firm fit and appear to be one seemless fit when together.  The damascus pattern is a random pattern and is very interesting in its design.  The weight of this piece is quite light and it is well balanced.  Most of all, it fits well in the hand and is quite sharp.  It also has a very authentic feel in its construction and design. And would be terrific for a collectors piece or for actual use as well.  This piece is quite exotic and is quite beautiful to examine and appreciate.
