The comes from a terrific bar of Mike Norris Wasp Nest Pattern stainless damascus. The blade release is a flush trap door of 416 stainless steel that is almost invisible. When depressed, the blade ejects from the handle with good snap. The handle is 416 stainless which add great contrast to the damascus on this piece as well as the radient black lip pearl inlays. Of course the fit, finish and blade center of this piece is consistent with craftsmanship that this well known maker is known for. Only one of these pieces is available and the price is right. |

| Additional Features: This very original work of knife art by Warren Osborne, features creme' de la creme' of presentation grade mother of pearl scales with shimmering flash of blue, green and ping. The blade, buttons and bail all come from a terrific bar of Devin Thomas' Ladder Pattern stainless damascus. The damascus button on the presentation side of the knife doubles as a blade release that provides blade opening assistance approximately 3/4 of the way thus requiring the user to open the knife the rest of the way. It also acts as a method of disengaging the blade for retraction into the handle. The bolsters are 416 stainless which add great contrast to the damascus on this piece. The mother of pearl scales are held in place through the use of solid rose gold pins. This adds a bit of elegance to this lovely piece as well. Of course the fit, finish and blade action on this piece is consistent with craftsmanship that this well known maker is known for. Only one of these pieces is available and the price is right. |
