His work is simply exquisite with only the best materials, inspired carving, solid gold carved inlays and terrific filework. The bolsters of this beautiful piece are carved 14K solid gold. The backspacer is nicely fileworked in both a rope pattern and a pattern of carved leaves. They showcase his carving skills. The black lip pearl is of the presentation grade with incredible fire. The blade steel is very intricate Jerry Rados Ladder Pattern Damascus that have been expertly etched. The nicely fileworked liners are anodized a rainbow spectrum of gold/green/blue which compliment both the gold bolsters and the black lip pearl. At the back of the knife, you will find a solid gold bail which further enhances the beauty of this wonderful piece. To top it all off, all components of this knife are securely held together with beautiful solid gold screws. There is a great deal to admire in this piece. Thank you Steve for such fantastic work. |

At the back of the blade, you will find a solid gold thumb stud inlayed with a sapphire which further enhances the beauty of this wonderful piece. It features fantastic turkish pattern damascus blade, expertly carved bronze bolsters with a grouse on one side and a hunting hound on the other. Stephen also expertly carved and fileworked both the inside and outside of the bronze backspacer and blue anodized titanium liners. The screws on this lovely piece are also intricately fileworked as well. To top it all off, Stephen included a solid gold bail and a solid gold thumb stud expertly inlaid with a beautiful sapphire. This gifted maker's stunning craftsmanship definitely shows through this gorgeous example of true knife art. This piece could very well be the center piece of any serious folder collection. |

It features fantastic wooly mammoth bark ivory with hues of blue, green, coffee, brown and grey on both sides of the knife. Steve employed fantastic Devin Thomas reptilian damascus blade, Eggerling mosaic damascus bolsters and formed a sculpted symetrical hilt on the bolsters. Stephen also expertly carved and fileworked both the inside and outside of the damascus and solid gold backspacer as well as expertly fileworking the blue anodized titanium liners. The backspacer has intricate carved work and transitions from beautifully carved leaves to engraved solid gold figures. This work is quite striking when examined closely. The screws on this lovely piece are also intricately fileworked solid gold as well. Steve continues to amaze us through his art knife creations with true investment potential. |
