| Other Features: Russ Milligan is a very talented artist from Bakersfield, CA that continues to show us his highly developed skill of making beautiful folding knives. This lovely piece, fresh from his table at Knife Expo 08, features extremely rare mammoth bark ivory with hues of gray, white, brown, beige and orange. Very, very cool stuff !!!! The blade steel of this lovely piece is the handiwork of Doug Ponzio as is the bolster steel. Both are mosaic patterns from his rapidly expanding repertoire . The liners are blue anodized titanium that are expertly filed in an intricate pattern which adds additional artistic beauty to this lovely piece. To top off the list of beautiful features, all the components of the knife are held in place via 14K gold plated screws. Add to all this a thumbstud with a set perodot stone, and you have one beautiful folder with terrific fit, finish, lockup and blade center as well. | Other Features: This smaller gents folder features a beautiful combination of materials that combine to set off nice earth tones as its color theme. The quite usable damasteel damascus blade has an RWL-34 core and is the very popular twist pattern. The blue mammoth ivory features interesting character marks and hues of blue, green, black and beige. The bolster steel is mosaic by Chris Marks that is heat colored. The blue anodized liners are nicely fileworked and the backspacer is damascus. Great knife at a terrific price. |
