The blade steel is satin finished ATS-34, The terrific fibermascus scales are both beautiful and durable.  The 416 stainless bolsters are very clean and add a nice contrast to the rich color of the fibermascus handle. The lockback mechanism is both smooth and locks up extremely tight and the finish work on this lovely knife is both seemless and perfect.  Stainless pins hold the handle scales in place and the blade is perfectly centered.  What a great piece from a very talented Australian knifemaker.

Additional Features: This beautiful abalone & damascus lockback utility folder features a terrific twist pattern damasteel stainless damascus blade which has an RWL-34 steel core.  It is known for being a fantastic using steel that will sharpen up well and hold a durable edge as well.   The terrific gree mosaic abalone scales are strikingly beautiful and make a terrific conversation piece.  The 416 stainless bolsters are very clean and add a nice contrast to the rich color of the abalone handle.
