| Additional Information: Here is a rare find from this very talented maker. Don doesn't make many daggers. But, when he does, they are fantastic. To stick with the symmetrical theme, Don employed his own tight ladder pattern damascus for the blade and wider ladder pattern damascus for the bolsters. The blade steel has a nice holographic affect when viewed in the light and the bolster steel complements the blade with wider oval shapes. The fantastic gold lip pearl has been carved and fluted to add additional artistic flair to this already terrific knife. The anodized titanium liners have been intricately fileworked which goes nicely with the high contrast damascus backspacer. And the finishing touch is a solid gold thumbstud which looks great against the damascus and matches nicely with the gold lip pearl scales. Once you study this piece closely, you will also notice that fit, finish, lockup and action are also first rate. Another great piece from a great maker with a great reputation for quality. |
