| Additional Features: We wish to welcome George Young to our gallery of handmade knives. George is an Knifemakers Guild Member with great talent in the production of folding knives. This beautiful piece features terrific stellite 6K blade that has been high satin finished to a beautiful shine. For handle scales, George has chosen beautiful blue / green wooly mammoth bark ivory scales which adds nice color and contrast to this lovely piece. Lockup is provide by a functional lockback mechanism which works well. For embellishments, George fileworked both the backspring and the blade spine of this lovely piece. For the crowning touch, George commissioned Fred Harrington to engrave the bolsters in a beautiful english scroll pattern. This is a lovely piece that would be right at home in the pocket or the safe as a collector piece. The price is a great value as well. |
