It features fantastic mosaic damascus by well known cutlery artist Roger Bergh, beautifully partitioned handle made from walrus ivory, wooly mammoth ivory, black birch and birch bark.. Greger provided terrific wire inlays as dividers and for embellishments on this lovely piece as well. What a beautiful piece by a very talented maker with terrific materials, top notch steel and fantastic attention to detail. |

| Additional Features: This magnificent presentation fighter features a great combination of materials, high art embellishment compositions and fantastic composite mosaic damascus by Roger Bergh. Greger started with Birch bark, inlaid wire in both beautiful stitch patterns as well as grape vines on one side of the handle. He then formed beautiful front and rear guards from brass and carved/stippled these parts to add a very interesting embellishment. Greger also formed the pummel from brass and high polished it for additional artistic beauty and flow. The two tone composite mosaic pattern blade is etched to perfection and adds strikingly to the overall beauty of this stunning piece. Greger also made a lovely sheath with painstaking tooling and two tone coloring. What a terrific knife that combines, true beauty, fantastic cutting ability as well as great form and function. |

| Additional Features: This extraordinary piece features a stunning composite explosion pattern damascus blade with very intricate and mesmerizing patterns by Robert Mattson. The handle is an amazing combination of complementary materials such as mammoth ivory, spalted birch, damascus and nickel silver. The mammoth ivory portions of the handle are divided by carved and fileworked damascus. The nickel silver spacers between the damascus and mammoth as well as between the spalted birch and mammoth are intricately fileworked to add even more beauty. the nickel silver wire wrapped birch bolster is very interesting and carved as well. The damascus pummel is of the fileworked bead variety with varying contrast as well. To top it all off, Greger intricately tooled the handmade sheath with very iteresting patterns and two toned leather. Wow, what a terrific knife from this talented maker. Greger, this one is really over the top !!!! |
