Additional Features:  We wish to welcome Chuck Gedraitis to our gallery of handmade knives with this beautiful fluted mammoth ivory gents folder with a fin like design.  This piece features terrific Donnelly Roots pattern damascus blade and very nice mosaic damascus bolsters by Bob Eggerling. The titanium liners are anodized purple and nicely fileworked for additional artistic beauty.  The backspacer is both intricately fileworked in a symetrical pattern as well as stippled and drilled in a symmetrical as well.    Fit, finish, action, blade center and lockup are all just right on this lovely gents folder.  This piece would make either a terrific user or a beautiful show piece for any folder collection.

Additional Features:  Here is another lovely knife by this talented knifemaker from the Northeast.  It is a fancy dagger featuring absolutely stunning and very rare fossil walrus ivory scales.  The blade steel is the product of Robert Eggerling and is a terrific mosaic pattern.  The bolsters are Chuck's own mosaic damascus.  Both are in nice contrast to complement each other.  The backspacer and liners are beautifully fileworked and heat colored to create one larger pattern.  Absolutely Stunning!!!!  The screws are all heat colored and fileworked to add additional beauty as well.  To add to a clean look, the bolster screws for this knife are all hidden as well.  Fit, finish, lockup and action are all great on this lovely dagger.

Additional Features:  This truly stunning art folder is one of Chuck's best to date.  From the presentation grade gold lip pearl carved to perfection, to the terrific W pattern damascus by Craig Bar.  You can almost see what looks to be a head and face in the blade steel.  That is very unique indeed.  Chuck cut the ladder pattern stainless damascus used for the bolster steel vertically to add some interesting relief for bot the blade steel and the handle scales.  Very nice.  Above and beyond all of this lovely material, Chuck also fileworked and  anodized the liners in varying colors of blue and fileworked the backspacer in a very intricate pattern.  The pivot screw and and screws that attach the pearl  have all been heat colored gold and the pivot screw has also been painstakingly fileworked as well.  This knife also has percision fit, fantastic finish, terrific lockup and exactying blade center as well.  Magnificent knife.  The judges at the 2007 Wolverine show agreed as well and awarded this piece "Best Folder".     A serious score for any serious collector.
