Unlike most makers of interframe folders which inlay either pearl, stone, ivory, or other natural materials as a center piece, Kaj inlaid his own mosaic damascus. And what stunning damascus it is. The piece was then fully engraved by master engraver Lisa Tomlin. Lisa's scrollwork is second to none and includes a generous portion of sold 24K gold highlights to further set off this lovely piece. Add to this perfect fit, finish, lockup and action, and you have one terrific art piece by two world class artists. |
