| Additional Features: Rick Dunkerley has a well known reputation as a great contributor to the custom knife industry through his teaching, active membership in the ABS, and of course his incredible skill as an ABS Mastersmith. His damascus folders are some of the most beautiful works of knife art available today. This absolutely stunning work is no exception. It is a "one of a kind" sole authorship with beauty creamy walrus ivory scales that have been carved and stippled on both sides for added beauty and grip texture. The steel is beautiful in design and beautifully heat colored a striking gold color incredible mosaics of fireworks explosions, foot prints and other interesting forms . The bolsters are also dramatically heat colored with similar mosaic figures. Both steels match the creamy hues of the walrus scales perfectly. The hot blued 1084 backspacer is exquisitely fileworked and is also colored a striking tone of gold. The heat colored and fileworked screws add great matching color as well. The eat colored liners radiate a raindown of colors including blue, red and purple.. The fileworked thumbstud is the crown touch with a great inlay of a beatiful high grade ruby. Along with all this beauty and craftsmanship, this knife also features feature smooth action as well as great fit and finish. This mastesmith knife is truly incredible to look at and would easily be the centerpiece of any serious collection. |

| Additional Features: When I first saw this piece I said "Holy Cow !!! What can he do next" . There is only one way to describe this piece "truly phenominal" . This has to be one of the most colorful and artistic knives that I have ever seen. The rich hues of blue, purple, gold, red, white and yellow surround this knife with fireworks like brilliance. Talk about wow factor, this piece has it and more. The liners, backspacer (inside/outside) are very nicely colored, fileworked and both follow the alternating theme of gold texture, ad blued steel filework. The fit, finish lockup and action are all super. This piece also features cameos of textured and blued steel in the patterns of a cowboy hat on one scale and a cowboy boot on the other. What else can be said. No photograph could do this piece justice. Any serious collector would have to be incredibly excited about owning a piece like this. |
