His damascus folders are some of the most beautiful works of knife art available today. This absolutely stunning work is no exception. It is a "one of a kind" sole authorship with stunning exhibition grade black lip pearl scales with wonderful fire of green, blue purple, red and yellow. It is almost impossible to find scales like this today. The blade steel is magnificent mosaic damascus hand forged by Rick and etched to perfection.. The bolsters are another beautiful mosaic damascus pattern hand forged by Rick as well. Both steels add just the right amount of contrast against the incredible black lip pearls scales. The damascus backspacer is exquisitely fileworked on two portions and then engraved in arrow patternson two other portions. All this work is hand done by Rick as well. The heat colored and fileworked screws add great matching color as well. The heat colored liners radiate a raindown of colors including blue, red and purple.. The fileworked thumbstud is the crown touch with a great inlay of a beatiful high grade ruby. Along with all this beauty and craftsmanship, this knife also features feature smooth action as well as great fit and finish. This mastersmith knife is truly incredible to look at and would easily be the centerpiece of any serious collection.
