The sambar stag handle feels very natural in the hand and is rugged with just the right amount of ridges for a firm grip. The beautiful hand tooled and dyed sheath is just right for this lovely knife as well. To add a little more embellishment, Crait also used a very nice mosaic butt ornament as well. Beautiful sole authorship knife that means business for a very reasonable price. |

Craig started with his own random pattern damascus that is quite unique and beautiful. He then created a terrific handle out of rare and costly walrus ivory with great cream color that is smooth to the touch. Craig then put a wicked edge on the damascus blade. Boy is it sharp !!!! To top it off, Craig supplied a tooled cowhide sheath the fits just right. What a terrific knife with great materials, great profile and fantastic fit and finish. |

| Other Features: When I first laid eyes on this world class piece at the Denver Custom Knife Show, I was taken back by its awe inspiring lines, its magnificent hamon and absolutely stunning sambar stag handle. I believe the judges at the show shared my taste in this case and awarded this piece "Best Fighter" for '07. Over and above its asthetic appeal, this piece has terrific balance, extremely strong and sharp W2 blade and a wicked sharp edge. This piece not only is beautiful but also means serious business. It certainly would do a complete job of carving this years Thanksgiving turkey !!!!! Craig added fantastic embellishments in the dark blued pummel and nicely figured guard which is just frosting on the cake for this lovely work of cutlery art. To top it all off, Craig commissioned Paul Long for the sheath of this lovely piece. He very well did this piece justice with a terrific tooled sleeve to protect this beautiful knife.. Amazing piece at an equally amazingly low price for a work of this type. |
