| Other Features: When I first laid eyes on this exquisite hunter, something inside said "I must have it!".. What a fantastic combination of artistic craftsmanship and exquisite materials. This full tang semi-skinner features a high polished ATS-34 blade and high polished 416 stainless pins. The handle scales are presentaton grade sambar stag with striking hues of high contrast. The texture of this stag is nothing short of fantastic. It has great valleys, and select ridges that surround the deep rich black lower surface. What a joy to examine and hold this knife in your hand. To top it all off, this piece comes equipped with a pouch style handmade cowhide sheath. It is very easy to see why Thad's knives have become so wildly popular. He is one of the hottest makers of fixed blade knives in the industry today. Getting one of his knives is very, very difficult. But, we enjoyed the challenge. Keep in mind, there is only one of these pieces available without the 4-5 year wait. So we do not believe this piece will last long. |
