There is nice contrast, great texture and interesting character in this stag and it is nicely matched as well.. The blade steel is the very popular S30V. It has been satin finished to a nice luster and expertly flat ground. The blade is also razor sharp for very affective cutting. The bolsters are 416 stainless and would make a nice canvas for your favorite engraver. The self lock mechanism provides a fantastic vault tight lockup. It also aids in the butter smooth action that this knife exhibits when the blade is both deployed and retracted into the handle. To top it all off; fit, finish and action are also first rate on this magnificent folder. We are delighted to offer this lovely piece to the discriminating collector. Only one is available since it is the prototype of this model.. |
