This beautiful piece of cutlery is designed to be used for sure, as are all of Gayle Bradley's creations. The blade is razor sharp and it locks up like a vault. To add additional artistic beauty to this already fantastic work of art, Gayle fileworked the backspacer in a lovely repeating geometric pattern. The silver color of both are nicely color matched to the and high polished both the mammoth scales and embellished bolsters with its hues of gray, blue and copper. This piece would be a very nice edition to any serious folder collection. Especially considering the nature of the materials used and the terrific color combination..
