It is in great demand and very high in value. The blade steel is the very popular ATS-34 with a satin finish. The double bolsters are of mirror polished nickel silver and shine beautifully as is the shield. The stainless backsprings are expertly fileworked in a very unique pattern which adds great beauty to this lovely knife. Fit, finish, snap and blade center are just right on this lovely piece. | Other Features: When I saw this beautiful Trapper on our friend Al's table it just struck me. Then I picked it up, played with the blade action and held it in my hand. Wow, what a great knife. Yes, it is large. But, it will cut like you can't imagine. For the field, it would be right at home for just about any task including dressing an animal.. What a terrific piece!! What a great pattern for this type of piece as well. The blades are easy to open and close. It has just the right action and fantastic fit / finish as well. Al, you have definately outdone yourself with this lovely handful.. And the price is right as well. |

He mirror polished both Nickel Silver and ATS-34 and through his master craftsmanship, created a truly stunning two blade trapper that is fit for dress or everyday use. This piece is ultra clean with great polished nickel silver shield and pins as well. The fit, finish spring, action and lockup of this lovely knife is worthy of its great looks as well. We will be seeing and hearing much more from this talented maker for a long time to come. |
